Cellfind’s Application Programming Interfaces (API’s) provides connectivity to various network bearer services i.e. Short Message Service (SMS), Bulk SMS, Multimedia Messaging Services (MMS), Location Based Services (LBS); Unstructured Supplementary Service Data (USSD), Online Billing System (OBS) - Vodacom, Event Based Billing (EBB) – MTN and Cell C Premium Rated Short Message Service.
Practical uses for the network bearer services range from automating systems to communicate directly to your customers i.e. SMS balance to Premium rated short code and have your systems provide the balance directly to the consumers handset, resulting in a decrease in call volumes to your Call Centre’s. Mobilising your work force and have them request stock items via their cellular phones. Not only will this increase efficiency and turnaround times, cost savings on ever increasing telecommunications bills can be controlled.

Location Based Services
Cellfind the leader in GSM location based services can facilitate the tracking of active GSM SIM cards on the Mobile networks. Location Based Services allows for accuracy readings of 70 meters up to a few kilometers dependent on the mobile network tower density which may vary from Urban to rural areas.
These services can be used for a wide array of applications such as personal and staff security, emergency location, GSM tracking of goods in transit, localised point of interest information specific to the area from which the information was requested.

SMS (Short Message service)

Our uncomplicated web site allows users to schedule delivery of messages, view reports, add pre-defined groups, view replies, view incoming messages on premium rated short code campaigns, set up keywords for your short code campaigns.
By employing Cellfind’s SMS gateway via an API you can seamlessly integrate Cellfind’s SMS portal into your organisation. Remove congestion from your Call Centre by automating messages, enable your systems to send event driven messages to customers i.e. account balances, info updates etc.
Use Outlook 2007 and 2010 to send SMS by simply creating an account and using Cellfind’s Outlook 2007 web service. Send SMS’s from a known interface and receive replies in a well-known format.

USSD (Unstructured Supplementary Service Data)

USSD is quick, cost effective and ensures that customers can interact with your company seamlessly making use of any cellular device. OBS (online Billing System) EBB (Event based billing)
Online/Event Billing allows WASPs to bill Vodacom/MTN customers for products and services by creating a billing event, which is independent of any Vodacom/MTN network bearer services. Event billing can be used in conjunction with any standard rated Vodacom/MTN bearer and the internet in order to create WASP billing charges.
Real world billing examples include, content delivery to a customer’s phone, subscription services, ad hoc downloads of information.
OBS/EBB billing is currently only available with MTN and Vodacom and Cell C.
