Cellfind’s third party generic cell phone panic button is specifically designed for companies such as medical, roadside, security and banking intuitions who have the need to enhance their value-added service offering. Cellfind will provide you with your own panic/assist button service, to brand and offer to your customers and ensure that they have peace of mind. Each industry is able to own their unique emergency medical or assist contact number, which can be linked to an emergency service provider or preferred call centre. We have partnered with various crisis management companies which allows us to offer you and your customers a professional, comprehensive mobile panic button service.
Your customer will save a pre-defined USSD string as a speed dial to their mobile phone. All relevant information (medical history, family doctors, contact details of loved-ones etc) pertaining to the customer subscribed to this panic button system is stored in a central database.
When the individual presses the ‘assist’ button on their handset, Cellfind will receive the alert and perform a location based search for the handset (Vodacom and MTN only). The estimated location information of the individual in distress is then forwarded through to a specified call centre. The call centre will manage the crisis situation as per protocol.
Eg: Rudi is in distress in the vicinity of Main Road, Bryanston, Johannesburg, Gauteng. The time of the alert was 13/08/2010 14:32 with accuracy of 50M. See the attached map Lat/Long
